A: If you have committed a sin (which is bothering you), then sincerely repent to Allah Ta’aala for the sin you committed, Insha Allah, Allah Ta’aala will forgive you; Allah Ta’aala is all forgiving and merciful. If you have unjustly caused pain to any person or usurped his rights, then seek forgiveness from him with fulfilling his rights. Apart from this, if any thoughts or doubts of something that has not occurred enter your mind, then do not entertain it nor pay any attention to it. You will not be accountable for the stray thoughts that cross your mind.
